Our hygiene program has been using the EMS airflow system for several years now.  What is the EMS Airflow system you ask?  AIRFLOW Prophylaxis Master is the latest EMS innovation for the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT).

GBT is an advanced dental cleaning technique that provides a thorough and efficient removal of plaque and bacteria from the teeth and gums. It is based on the principle that biofilm, a sticky layer of bacteria that forms on teeth, can be more effectively removed with the use of specialized tools and techniques. To start a disclosing solution is applied to the teeth to highlight areas where biofilm is present. A gentle stream of air, water, and powder is used to remove biofilm from the teeth and gum pockets. An ultrasonic scaler is used to remove any remaining biofilm and calculus. The benefits are thorough removal of biofilm, reducing the risk of gum disease and cavities.
